About me

About

My first gallery showing was at the age of 15 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. That same year I produced a documentary series on black poverty for Congresswoman Francis Dawson, in Burlington, NC.

At age 16 I covered racial unrest in Chapel Hill for The Chapel Hill Weekly newspaper. This coverage resulted in threats on my life, so I was enrolled at Hargrave Military Academy, in Chatham Virginia. There, I got into radio and spent 12 years as a DJ, 3 years as an NCAA women’s basketball play-by-play color analyst and 13 years as a high school basketball referee .

I have worked professionally since 2004 focusing on landscape fine art photography.

I also conduct photography workshops in Yosemite National Park, CA throughout the year, and in the Italian Dolomites,
