Portraits

94 year-old Mickey Muzinich and his wife of 60+ years, Gloria, pose for a portrait at the Eagle Field Warbirds Fly-in and Benefit Dinner-Dance. Mickey was a flight instructor during WWII and was noted for being able to teach a student to solo in only three lessons.

The clouds were looking very dramatic, so I told them "Stand right there" and framed the shot for best effect.

I plopped the baby (Matty) in the oldest's lap (Cody) and started shooting. No posing, no props, just put them on the floor and shot what occured.

Shot on the date of their 2nd wedding anniversary. I shot their wedding.

4year-old Shanna plays with an old UV filter. I was sitting on the couch and she walked up with it and I took her picture. You have to be ready at all times with children.

Jeremy basks in the great hit he put into shallow right field to make it to first base in a little league game in Clovis, CA.

One of my favorite people in the whole world and a very good friend. Shot in the Sierra National Forest near Clover Meadow.

Tyler caught a 6 pound catfish and this was the only fish they kept.

Woman at the Big Fresno Fair painting portraits. She was oblivious to my taking shot after shot, from all different directions...

Kelsey is 25 years old, with a graphic arts degree from North Carolina State now running her own business. Amazingly, she has never considered modeling.

As we were shooting for the jacket for her first CD release, the barn cats would not go away, so I decided to just let them do what they wanted. Turned out pretty good.

Although she's only 21, she's been riding since she was 5, and training horses and instructing riders since she was 16.

She's got beautiful eyes.
